Following its extensive renovations, the championships' site was inaugurated as the Reuven Sadnai Sailing Beach on Friday July 2, 2010, in a stylish ceremony with the participation of Haifa's mayor, the president of the International 420 Class, the Portuguese embassador to Israel, and many other dignities.
